Continuing Education Hours
If you hold a license to transact insurance with a term of between one year and two years in duration, you must complete 20 hours of Arizona-approved CE during your license term.(regardless of the lines of authority you hold on your license) If you hold a license to transact insurance with a term of greater than two years in duration, you must complete 40 hours of Arizona-approved CE during your license term.(regardless of the lines of authority you hold on your license)
Continuing Education Compliance Date
Renewal date is determined by the original date of licensure. CE must be completed every two years to maintain active status.
Types of Courses Accepted for CE Credit
• Self-study
• Classroom study
• On line courses.
Course Subject Requirements
• There are no specific course requirements.
Carryover Requirements
Carryover of excess CE credit hours is NOT allowed.
Final Exam
Self-study final exams are required to be monitored by a disinterested third party.
Course Repetition
Credit will not be given for courses taken more than once in a license period.
