Course Subject Requirements
Producers must complete 24 credit hours. Of the 24 credit hours, at least 6 hours in each major line held; at least 3 hours in Laws/Reg/Ethics; and the balance in any type or combination.
Effective August 1, 2007, all Connecticut resident Producer licensees with Property/Casualty OR Personal Lines authority must complete a one-time 3-credit course on Federal Flood requirements. The 3 credits apply toward your total Property/Casualty CE requirement.
Carryover Requirements
Excess CE credit hours may not be carried over to the next reporting period.
Course Repetition
Courses may not be repeated in the same renewal period excluding Ethics.
Final Exam
Self-study final exams are required to be monitored by a disinterested third party.
