Continuing Education Hours
Licensees are required to complete 24 hrs of continuing education including 3 hrs of Ethics. At lest 6 hrs of CE must cover lines in which licensed.
Continuing Education Compliance Date
Continuing Education is due by the last day of the licensee's birth month. Odd/Even years is based on year of birth.
Types of Courses Accepted for CE Credit
All 24 hrs of continuing education may be completed via self-study or classroom
Course Subject Requirements
All producers who sell, solict or advertise flood products must complete 3 hrs of NFIP Flood Training
Carryover Requirements
Up to 12 hrs of correspodence credits may be carried over to the next reporting period.
Final Exam
Self-study final exams are not required to be monitored.
Exemptions
• Individuals with a limited line license for which an exam is not required
• Individuals licensed less than a year at the time of compliance
• Adjusters
• Solicitors with limited licenses
