Continuing Education Hours
Insurance Producers:
For Licenses in effect for 13-18 months: 12 hours of continuing education is required prior to the expiration date
For Licenses in effect for 19-24 months: 24 hours of continuing education including three hours of ethics
Insurance Adjusters:
Independent and Public Adjusters must complete 12 hrs of continuing education in adjuster approved courses, every two years
Course Subject Requirements
NFIP Flood: All agents are required to complete a one-time 3 hr Flood Training course.
Course Repetition
Licensees are not allowed to repeat courses within the same compliance period.
Carryover Credits
Not Permitted .
License Renewal Date
Property and Casualty producers are required to renew their license by 5/31, annually.
Life and Health producers are required to renew their license by 12/31, annually.
Continuing Education Compliance Date
Property and Casualty producers are required to complete their continuing education by 5/31, annually.
Life and Health producers are required to complete their continuing education by 12/31, annually.
