Continuing Education Hours
Producers are required to complete 16 hrs of continuing education, including three hours of ethics, every two years.
Title agents are required to complete 8 hrs of continuing education,every two years.
Continuing Education Compliance Date
Continuing education is due by the anniversary of issuance date.
License Renewal Date
Anniversary of issuance date.
Types of Courses Accepted for CE Credit
- Self Study
- Classroom
- Online
Course Subject Requirements
NFIP Flood Training: All producers must complete a one-time NFIP Flood Training course.
LTC/P: All Life and Health producers who plan to sell, solicit or negociate long term care policies must complete a one-time 8 hr training course, followed by 4 hrs of ongoing training every two years thereafter.
Carryover Requirements
Licensees are allowed to carry over all excess credit hours earned to the next compliance period.
Course Repetition
A course may not be repeated for credit within a two year period.
Final Exam Requirements
Self-study exams must be proctored by a disinterested third party administrator.
