Continuing Education Hours:
All resident producers with a Life, Accident & Health, Property,
Casualty or Personal authority shall complete 24 credit hours of continuing education including 3 hrs of ethics every two years.
All Multi-Line Adjusters and Worker's Compensation Adjusters shall complete 20 hrs of continuing education every two years. Those with Worker's compensation authority have
a minimum of 10 worker's comp credit requirement.
All Public Adjusters shall complete 15 hrs of continuing education every two years.
Course Subject Requirements:
No more than 10 hrs may be taken in Ethics credits.
Adjusters with workers compensation are required to complete 20 hrs in Adjuster approved courses; at least 10 hrs must pertain to workers compensation approved credit.
Additional Training Requirements:
All producers licensed in personal lines, property or casualty who sell flood insurance through the NFIP are required to complete a one-time 3 hr flood training course. This requirement may count towards the producer’s biennium continuing education requirement.
Types of courses accepted for CE Credit:
• Self-study
• On-line
• Classroom
Carryover Requirements:
Licensees are not allowed to carryover continuing education credits.
Course Repetition:
Courses cannot be completed within a compliance cycle.
Nonresidents Requirements:
If you are a non-resident producer you must be in good standing in your resident state and you will not be required to complete the New Hampshire continuing education. If you are multi-line or worker's compensation adjuster and RESIDE in state that requires CE the above rules apply. If your resident state does not require CE, then you must meet the CE rules as if you were a NH resident
Continuing Education Compliance Date:
Education must be completed 60 days prior to license expiration.
License Renewal Date:
The license renewal date is the last day of your birth month every two years.
