Steps to Getting Your New York Insurance License

The first step in obtaining your New York State Insurance License is to complete the ONLINE Pre-Licensing Course and pass the Monitored Online Final Exam. To review the Monitored Final Exam Requirements click here. To register and enroll in a course click on the "Register Now" button above. Complete the registration form and fax it to 360training at (512) 857-8634 or you can email it to NYINS-enroll@360training.com. You will then be contacted by GE Insurance Institute. |

Once You pass the Monitored Online Final Exam, GE Insurance Institute will issue you a Certificate of Completion. The Certificate of Completion qualifies you to take the New York State Insurance Licensing Examination |

The NYS Licensing Exam is administered through PSI Exams, the cost is $49. To register for your licensing exam, click here. A Passing Score Report qualifies you to apply for your New York State License. |
