You must arrange to meet with a South-Carolina approved proctor PRIOR to beginning any final exam. After the proctor has observed you completing the final exam without any assistance, you will then both sign a Monitor Affidavit (Click Here for Affidavit) and fax it back to 360 training at the number on the form. Once we receive the completed Affidavit, you will then be allowed to print your Certificate of Completion for each course online.

- The South Carolina Insurance Department requires CE to be completed biennially on May 1st of even-numbered years.
State Insurance Continuing Education Requirements
Continuing Education Hours
Multi-line (property and casualty and life, accident and health) agents must complete twenty-four hours of CE credits. A minimum of eight (8) credit hours must be completed in each line of authority and a minimum of three (3) credit hours of Ethics. Failure to comply will result in the license being non-renewed.
Continuing Education Compliance Date
May 1st in even-numbered years.

Course Subject Requirements
- 3 hours of Ethics as part of the 24 hours requirement
- Multi-line agents must complete a minimum of eight (8) credit hours in each line of authority
Carryover Requirements
A maximum of 12 hours earned in the second year of a reporting period may be carried over to the next reporting period. Credit will not be give for a course that is repeated within a 2 year period.

Exemptions
- Individuals licensed only for credit life, credit accident and health, credit property, crop hail, auto physical damage, mortgage guaranty, mortgage, title, travel accident and baggage, or federal crop insurance.
- Individuals who are at least 55 years old at the time of compliance and have been licensed for at least 20 years
- Individuals licensed solely for domestic insurance companies with less than $1 million in written premiums.
- Licensed special agents
- Newly licensed individuals exempt for the biennium in which license is issued.
- Non resident agents if their state has CE requirements
- Bail bond licensees who are at least 60 and have been continuously licensed for at least 20 years.
