Continuing Education Hours
Vermont regulation requires that all resident agents complete 24 hours of CE every two years.
Continuing Education Compliance Date
CE hours are due March 31 of all odd numbered years.
Types of courses accepted for CE Credit
• Self-study • Classroom study • On line courses.
Course Subject Requirements
LTC/P: All producers who are licensed to sell, solicit or negoicate LTC products must complete a one-time initial 8 hr NAIC LTC training course. At least 2 hrs must pertain to Vermont Medicaid information. After completing the 8-hour initial training requirement, producers must complete 4 hours of LTC training on or before March 31 of odd-numbered calendar years.
Carryover Requirements
Not Permitted
Final Exam
Self-study courses must have a completion exam.
Course Repetition
Courses may not be repeated in the same renewal period.
